| You can, but we do not recommend it. It is an expensive 3 hour taxi or bus ride to your resort. | |

| Because Costa Rica is located just north of the Equator, the climate is Tropical year round. Anytime is a good time! | |
| 5. | What languages will I hear on vacation? |
| Spanish is the main language in Costa Rica. English is used in tourist areas. You will find most of the people you meet are bilingual. | |

| The local currency is colones. Money exchange is provided at most banks. The use of US dollars is common in tourist areas. It is also common to pay by Credit Card. Always carry with you Costa Rican coins for a public pay phone in case you need to contact your resort. | |
